Symposium and Final Product

Symposium

This past week I have been preparing for the symposium doing any last-minute touches. I am kind of excited to see how it is going to go but I feel like it is going to be awkward. Standing in a room with a hundred other students waiting for someone to walk up to you feels kind of strange. The symposium is tomorrow so I guess I will see what happens.

I failed my food manager's license which kind of sucks because now I have to take it again. I did not study as much as I wanted so I felt poorly prepared which is probably why I failed. The test was more difficult than I thought it was going to be, but it's okay because now I know what to study for when I take the next test. I ordered everything I need to start up so I am ready to go. Hopefully, I pass the 2nd time around.

Final Product Work

I have been working hard on my final product and I made all 4 recipes already! I thought it was going to take me longer than that because it took me a while to do my original work. I made the red bean mochi cookies and they turned out really good. I was kind of shocked because I never made mochi before and it was fairly easy to make. I think I want to make one or two more recipes to include in my final product so that there are more options and a wider variety of foods.
