Starting Sprint 1.3 & Talking it up

Sprint 1.3

I just finished Sprint 1.2 and it went pretty well. I felt like I got a lot of paperwork done and have learned a lot throughout this sprint. I have been doing some extra research outside of the sprint plan and in ISM and have learned a lot. I also am starting to clean up my office space to get ready to start manufacturing and getting the space inspected. Looking at sprint 1.3 I think it is really hitting me that this is actually happening and it's crazy. I feel a little scared because so many things can go wrong but we are so close. I just got another mentor for my Accelerator class that is able to be more hands-on with helping me out, so that should help out a lot and make sure that I am heading down the right path. She is able to meet with me in person so we can communicate more one-to-one. I am really excited about what is coming up and hopefully, things will continue to run somewhat smoothly.

Interviewing

In ISM we have been focusing on cold calls and interviews. I had my first interview this past week with Brad Herrmann, CEO of text-em-all, and he was amazing. I had a few questions about relationships with employees and how to be professional. He had a world of information and advice to give and I got to learn a lot from him. It was great talking to Mr. Herrmann and getting to learn more about him and being able to hear his advice and apply it to what I and doing now and in the future. I hope to conduct more interviews and be able to learn more from other business professionals around the area.
