What the year looks like
Today is the last day of the second sprint plan which was about organizing all the tasks under sprints that need to be completed in order to launch. I thought it would help me feel a little bit less overwhelmed but if anything I feel more stressed. Looking at how much time I have this school year and everything I have to get done is scary. Trying to find the most important tasks and which one is the most time taxing then grouping them into a certain goal that needs to be met took a lot of time. At least I have a basic layout of how the year will go and it can be revised if needed. Hopefully, as time goes on and as I check the tasks off little by little I will feel less worried and the goal of getting our product into the market is reached.
Learning throughout the way
In ISM we have just finished our 3rd research assessment and have been going over the proper etiquette of cold calls. In this research assessment, I focused on my entrepreneur topic. I read about the beginning of Google and how its founders created Google. It showed their failures and their weaknesses as a start-up company and how they overcome all of their problems. Unlike some startups who are lucky enough to blow up overnight, Google was not, and they spent years developing and modifying their search engine to be the best it can be. Even though what I read was only a chapter of a book it was nice to be reading a story of how two entrepreneurs came to be, what challenges they faced, and what they have learned from it. I think not all research assessments have to be about an informative document or except but can be a story like how google came to be where their story of what they have learned can be more informative and insightful than straight facts.

What a great article to analyze!!!
