Shooting Recipes

This past week I focused a lot on making recipes for my final product as well as recreating my recipes for my original work to take pictures for my website. It took a while to shoot the recipes because you have to take extra time to make them look perfect as well plating them. But its okay cause they turned out pretty good and I got to eat some good food. I also tried to work on this one recipe for my final product. I was thinking of making a red bean cinnamon roll that was gluten free and vegan and I failed very very hard. I will say it was not my best work and the dough came out more like a bread biscuit rather than your expected chewy and bready cinnamon dough. I may try to remake the recipe but just make it vegan because making it gluten free makes it really hard. I was also thinking of another recipe to make vegan or veggie dumplings using tofu skin or soya sheets as the wrapper rather than dumpling skins. I am not completely sure how that will go but I will see.


Business Things

I have been really pushing form getting my product in market but I still have not heard back from my food manager license and turns out the $500 the school gave to me I have to pay back. In the contract that I signed I do not have to pay back the money if my business does not profit but if does then I have to pay back the $500. They also have to process what I am buying which can take a few weeks so I might just buy the products so I can start next week getting my products in my mentors bakery.
