Getting Prepared
Last Friday I took my food managers test and I think I passed. The test was harder than I thought and was 90 questions long. I had to make a 75% or higher in order to pass the test so hopefully, I did. However, now that I have taken the test and assuming I passed it is now time to start getting the product in-store. I have some money that the school gave me to use that I can use for ingredients and supplies as well as packaging. The only thing is that I need to get it approved which I do not know how long that will take. I also need to order packaging and depending on shipping will also depend on how long it will take until I get the products in-store.
Am I supported
Even though I am getting ready to launch I still have to get my dad's approval. He use to be distant from my work but now he has taken interest in what I have been doing and has become pretty invested. I do want his support and his opinion on what I am doing which I am glad now that he is more supportive but he still declines and disapproves of many of the things that I want for my business. I do not know how he will actually react to me putting my product in store but will help me a little or approve of it in some kind of way.

ISM: Display Board, Final Product, Recipies
In ISM we have been working hard to get ready for the showcase and continuing to work on our final product. I have been working on the layout of my display board and how I wanted to look. Since I have two topics I wanted to include both topics without the display board looking too crowded.

I decided to do an extension of my original work for my final product by creating a recipe book with at least 3-4 more recipes. I wanted more recipies that are more Asian inspired. Growing up Asian, trying to eat more balance and conscious, was difficult as the Asian diet revolves around meat and meat products. I wanted people who like Asian food or are Asian to enjoy the food without worrying to much about the balance and nutrition content of the meal.
